The MAce DVR-400-RT3 is a high end professional grade DVR which captures video in the sophisticated H.264 compression format at speeds up to 30 FPS per camera input. The result is quality video images, with none of the image jerkiness common to slower speed DVRs. Other important features include remote Internet viewing, a built-in CD burner, audio I/O ports and alarm connectors. Real Time Recording Video is captured at speeds up to 120 FPS for the combined channels. This means that even with all channels occupied, users can get a maximum recording speed of 30 FPS per camera. The primary benefit of this is that the more frames there are the better the chances are of finding one exhibiting the most identifying characteristics. Seasoned CCTV personnel will also appreciate the fact that a smoother picture means less eye strain on an operator. Naturally, an operator can choose a lower frame rate in order to conserve hard drive space or network resources. 

H.264 Compression With its ability to produce quality video images while keeping file sizes to a minimum, H.264 is well suited as a compression method for DVRs. In practical terms this means that demanding CCTV environments will get the high resolution images they need to better identify people and objects. At the same time they won't have to worry about prematurely running out of hard drive space or getting bogged down in a network traffic jam. Remote Internet Viewing Live and recorded images can be accessed from a remote location over the Internet.
Pentaplex Operation With its built-in multiplexer, the DVR is capable of simultaneously handling the recording, playback and live viewing of all channels, both locally and from a remote Internet location without compromising image quality or DVR performance. 
Built-In CD Burner An internal CD burner allows images to be easily copied to an optical disc for quick viewing on a PC or for archiving purposes. This CD burner can be upgraded to a DVD burner by the user.
