The GV-VB59SP provides a highly cost-effective solution by allowing the transmission of video signals up to 2000 feet using ordinary unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable. The GV-VB59SP's unique design requires no tools to install which results in immense time savings. The GV-VB59SP provides protection by the use of a gas discharge tube which protects the video balun and downstream equipment from transient voltage by instantly breaking the circuit. Once the transient voltage has subsided the circuit returns to normal. This can happen up to 200 times with no degradation of the component.
